Full Time (Monday-Friday)
The Department of Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System seeks a Histotechnologist/ Cytotechnologist with a background in histotechnology and ASCP registration or eligibility. Responsibilities include processing, embedding, cutting, and routine and special staining. A background in frozen sections and MOH's technique, experience using Ventana Special Stainer, and BenchMarkXT preferred. In addition, the professional in this role should be familiar with cytoprepatory techniques and be able to assist physicians in specimen collection and preparation in FNA's, QA, QC to microscopically evaluate GYN and Non-GYN specimens using SurePath System (for Cytotechnologist).
