Healthy Addition Educator - SFL

Job duties include but are not limited to the following: Job duties include but are not limited to the following: • Responsible for the ongoing telephonic education of identified high-risk and potential high-risk pregnant participants in the Healthy Addition Prenatal Program. • Administer the risk assessment tools to members identified with high risk and potentially high risk pregnancies • Monitor and evaluate identified high-risk and potential high-risk pregnancies • Provide support, education, and reinforcement of physician’s treatment plan throughout length of pregnancy. • Provide support and education at health fairs and community outreach activities. • Provide educational programs for employer groups, as appropriate. • Coordinate continuous improvement opportunities • Serve as subject matter expert for obstetrical education for other company areas. • Moderate to heavy keying required Job Requirements: • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience • Current Florida RN License • 3+ years clinical/OB experience • Knowledge of the healthcare industry • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience with MS Word, Excel • 15% travel including overnight stays Business Specific Criteria (preferred skills): • Bachelors of Science degree in nursing, healthcare or business and/or advance certification (CCM/CDE, etc,) • Experience with high risk pregnancies • Understanding of the managed care process • Intermediate experience with MS PowerPoint • Bilingual Spanish/English Please Click Here to ApplyIf you are interested in applying to this position, please click on the "Apply Now" link and follow these important steps: 1.  Log-in if you have an existing profile on the BCBSF website.
