Health Promotions Representative

JOB SUMMARY: Assists in planning, coordinating, and delivering onsite health promotion programming events; which includes health screenings, health fairs, seminars, incentive programs, health education/counseling, etc. RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Manager/Director JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assists in planning, coordinating, and delivering onsite health promotion programming events; which includes health screenings, health fairs, seminars, incentive programs, health education/counseling, etc. 2. Makes sure the proper supplies and testing equipment are packed and carried to the appropriate location. Ensures proper set up and take down of testing equipment. Keeps accurate inventory of products and supplies. 3. Schedules appointments for individual health screenings; coordinates health screening schedules; educates and responds to inquires regarding health promotion programs. 4. Works screening stations as needed. Signs, submits, and audits time sheets for contract staff. 5. Completes and submits necessary event paperwork on a timely basis. 6. Partners with the marketing department to provide on-site health promotion materials. 7. Performs other related duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education: Undergraduate degree in health promotion, health education, or related field preferred. Experience: Typically requires three years experience in health promotion or related field. Planning and administrative experience within a health care environment preferred. Knowledge: Knowledge of health promotion processes and procedures. Understanding of assessment and evaluation processes. Ability to handle sensitive client and patient information with confidentiality. Skills and Competencies: Verbal communication skills to present health promotion programs. Proven ability to set work priorities and organize work. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with corporate personnel, clients, vendors, etc. Ability to use personal computer and related medical management and business software. Ability to use mathematical and statistical data to analyze claims and trends. Values: Regularly and consistently demonstrates the Nationwide Values and Guiding Behaviors. Staffing Exceptions to the above minimum job requirements must be approved by: Director - HR Consultant JOB CONDITIONS: Overtime Eligibility: Non exempt (Eligible) Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Must be willing to work irregular hours and to travel 70%-80% with overnight requirements.
