The 24-hour Emergency Services Department features a specially trained Sexual Assault Response Team and a Heart and Stroke Center. Rising to meet the ever-changing needs of a growing and diverse community, Bakersfield Memorial Hospital is expanding with a new tower and 114 additional beds due to be completed in 2009. An integrated wireless network facility-wide will compliment the expansion and high level of care already available to our patients.
