HIPP Liaison with established medical devices company!!

BASIC FUNCTION:  This position is responsible for reviewing, processing, and following up on patient insurance premium requests through the American Kidney Fund.  MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED / QUALIFICATIONS:•          High school graduate.•          12 months of general office experience, preferably in the medical field.•          Customer service and team oriented.•          Medical terminology a plus.•          Understanding of health insurance.•          Insurance verification experience helpful.•          Good communication, organizational, and analytical skills.•          Computer literate, with working knowledge of software programs, such as MS Excel, Access, Outlook, and Word.   RESPONSIBILITIES:•          Evaluate assigned AKF premium requests to ensure they meet AKF eligibility guidelines.•          Enter assigned AKF insurance premium requests into the Access database.•          Research and process returned AKF requests and checks.•          Research and assist Social Workers with problematic premium requests•          Review department reports to follow up on unpaid premium requests, missing premium requests and missing HIPPA authorization forms.•          Clearly communicate in a professional, friendly manner with Co-workers, Social Workers, Case Workers, and various third party organizations, regarding AKF premium requests.•          Other duties as assigned by Manager.  TRAINING ELEMENTS:•          Introduction to DDE, WEBRIMS, BAR, GHWEB, Reggie, Access, and Outlook systems•          In-Center P & P manual sections relating to AKF•          Department Training Manual •          American Kidney Fund (AKF) Eligibility Guidelines  TRAINING TEAM:•          Patient Assistance Liaisons•          Supervisor About Ultimate Staffing Want to work with people who care about your personal and professional growth?
