General Manager - Pride NEPA

 

The primary purpose of our General Manager Pride NEPA is to manage the operations of a regional distribution center in such a way as to meet or exceed all production, quality, and productivity goals and to maintain compliance with all regulatory requirement including but not limited to the FDA and OSHA while enforcing adherence to all company established policies and procedures

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Manage staffing levels based on experience and productivity goals Develop goals and objectives and measure outcomes to ensure goals are met Develop a Pride team focused on customer service, quality, reliability, and timeliness Develop a strong “Second� for your area of responsibility Organize facility to meet or exceed defined goals Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations Continuously develop and implement new ideas to improve performance and reduce costs Ability to read and understand complex data sets including but not limited to inventory and financials Train and develop facility managerial staff with succession plans in place Work closely with People 1st on all personnel issues Work closely with senior management to develop programs to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency Oversee facility expenditures and budget Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers as well as local customers

The requirements for this position are as follows:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 5+ years warehouse/distribution management Management of stand-alone facility including but not limited to financials, multi-level staffing, transportation and logistics, vendor contracts, and customer service experience preferred Oracle/WMS preferred Team player with excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and able to handle multiple priorities Intellectually honest in all dealing and focused on continuous improvement Focused on make real progress and consistently demonstrating good business judgment Promote the key Pride core values:Be humble in front of customers#1 in customer satisfaction#1 in product quality#1 in cost and efficiencyBe a learning organization
