General Manager- Long Term Care
Description
Rapidly-growing provider of imaging services (x-ray and ultrasound) to the Long Term Care (nursing homes) marketplace is seeking an outstanding leader to serve as a General Manager. The Company has grown exponentially in the past five years, and desperately needs a strong operations manager to pull together the logistical functions (servicing existing business) in the Southwest Region.
The primary role will be to manage the region’s efforts in achieving optimal profitability while maximizing efficiencies in delivering healthcare services to the Long Term Care market. The GM will oversee approximately 150 employees, including x-ray and ultrasound technologists, customer service reps, sales executives, and biomedical engineers.
The Company currently serves over 500 Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) in the Region, including National and Regional Chains in the Long Term Care market. The annual revenue produced approaches $20,000,000.
The ideal location for this position is the Dallas Metroplex area. The region includes TX, OK, AR, NM, NE, UT, KS, MO and IA. Approximately thirty (30%) percent travel is expected.
The compensation package includes a base salary (ranging from $90,000 - $100,000) plus an annual bonus. Expenses, retirement plans, and health benefits are also included.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position has at least seven - ten years experience as an Operations Manager in the Healthcare Industry, with STRONG preference for the Long Term Care (SNFs or LTACs) market, or Home Health Care market.
Outstanding operations management success (P&L and size and scope of business managed) should be documented on your resume.
A Bachelor's Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) is required.
STRONG RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING SKILLS ARE REQUIRED!! This position’s success is directly tied into the GM’s ability to develop strong bonds internally among the management staff and line workers.
Strong knowledge of trends in Long Term Care and the Medicare delivery system is important. Outstanding communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a professional image/presence are also essential.
Qualified candidates should send their resumes in MS Word format to: phoenixhs92@aol.com
