Full time Hematology Supervisor, Medical Tech
Major 600 bed hospital needs a Hematology Supervisor, Medical Technologist generalist with strong Hematology skills. ASCP or equivalent certification is required for the day shift position.
Minimum requirements are Bachelor's degree (e.g., BA, BS, BSN, BSW). Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or other health or life science. Five to seven years experience.
With minimal supervision, directs the activities of work performed by other Technologists, performs and monitors a variety of laboratory testing and analyses, assumes responsibility for problem resolution, and teaches quality control and maintenance.
