As a Physical Therapist, you will: *Develop/implement a conditioning/rehabilitation program consistent with physician's Plan of Treatment and the overall goals of the patient/rehab team. Adjust treatment as needed to achieve maximum results. *Confer with physician and other team members to obtain additional patient information and assist in developing, implementing, and revising the therapy treatment program and Plan of Treatment. *Coordinate, oversee, supervise, instruct, and evaluate Physical Therapy Assistants' performance in implementing physical therapy services. Train Physical Therapy Assistants to implement treatment protocols and collect data on patient progress as permitted by policy and regulation. Qualifications *Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program (approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and/or the American Physical Therapy Association) and meet any additional qualifications as stated in state homecare regulations *Six months of experience *Current licensure/certification in the state of practice and current CPR certification *Good organizational and communications skills *Ability to function with minimal supervision expect more from GentivaAt Gentiva, you'll find everything you need to make the most of your career, including advanced education and training, the latest resources and the industry's highest standards of clinical excellence.
