Front Office Coordinator - physician office

OSF Medical Group in Galesburg IL is seeking a candidate experienced in the clerical, duties of a physician office. 

The Front Office Coordinator has the experience to manage the day to day functions of the front (clerical) office of the physician practice under the direction of the Practice Coordinator. 

Previous physician practice experience, excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing and collections, ICD and CPT codes, Medicare/Medicaid and insurance reimbursement procedures are required.  A proven customer service attitude and ability to model that attitude to staff is very important..  Proven experience with computers is required.  Previous experience supervising employees is highly desired. 

All clerical employees report to the Front Office Coordinator.  Under the direction of the Practice Coordinator, the Front Office Coordinator will help prepare yearly evaluations, oversee competency requirements and assist with interviewing and training new staff and assisting with employee relations issues as needed.
