Foster Care Case Manager

A World For Children

 

A non-profit Christian based Child Placing Agency is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Case Manager position in the Houston area.  You must have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field and have some experience (at least one year) in doing Case Management work with children or adults who are emotionally disturbed. 

The applicant must possess the ability to write well, communicate with members of staff and the community, demonstrate initiative and be able to work independently, utilize good judgment, and understand the needs of parents and children including the ability to handle difficult situations effectively.   The candidate must be a self starter who is willing to travel some distance for work.  The job in this area covers  the greater Houston area including Montgomery, Harris, Ft. Bend, Brazoria and Galveston Counties. 

Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
