A growing Phoenix area physician group practice is seeking an exceptionally well-qualified Financial Services Manager to provide leadership to and be responsible for the overall management of the Business Office. Business Office includes Patient Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Human Resources, and the Reception Area.

This successful candidate will be a well organized, people-oriented professional. The person we seek will be a team player with excellent management skills, who takes ownership of their outcomes, pride in the quality of their work, is challenge oriented, and possesses a "whatever it takes to get the job done" attitude.

Qualified candidates must possess the following characteristics and qualifications:3-5 years "hands on" and managerial and/or accounting experience in the health care industryExperience in the oversight and management of the activities of an office staff of 3-5 peopleWorking knowledge of the revenue cycle/billing process for various pay sourcesExperience in the oversight and management of all basic accounting functions: GL, AR, AP, Payroll (using an outside payroll processing service), and basic quarterly and annual reporting requirements.Ability to work independently and innovatively to meet practice goals Full understanding of and responsibility for all State and Federal regulatory compliance Ability to work in a team environment to meet the overall company goals

·  Ability to prioritize, organize, pro-actively problem solve, and multi-task

· Possess high standards for internal and external customer service

· Ability to work flexible hours if necessary

· Possess strong written and verbal skills and proficiency with common office computer programs
