Providing regulatory & actuarial reporting that breaks down financial information for more detailed categories. Functioning as a SME on financial claims systems for integration,  acquisition& process improvement related projects Answering questions & resolving issues related to the financial claims systems and/or Reserve processes & Systems. Data Mining- pulling data from mainframe and various systems Supervision of Financial Systems Analysts Small amount of journal entry & Account reconciliation reviewRequirements:  3-5 years progressive financial or accounting experience Experience supervising others Proven ability to drive process development and/or improvement A bachelors degree in finance, accounting or related degree Proven ability to work independently Ability to translate concept into practice Proven ability to be self-directed and serve as a resource to others  Preferred assets:A background in the healthcare industry A background in system integration or acquisition experience Experience working with projects SAS, SQL or Oracle experience Experience working with Peoplesoft Access, DB2 or other Database applications Experience working with large databases or financial systems Basic programming skillsDiversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.  Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
