Finance Change Management Consultant

Responsibilities Include:

·        Advise Finance Department on tactical and strategic actions necessary to address process pain points

·         Work with PeopleSoft Functional Experts to develop, document and roll-out updated finance processes including checklists and procedures

·         Ensure that finance issues are logged, prioritized and progressed

·         Work with PMO to identify resource requirements to accomplish project activities

·         Interact with the Finance Department to identify staff expertise deficits

·         Identify training requirements for Finance staff

·         Assist PMO with planning assessment and requirements activities

·         Assist client in defining key capabilities /requirements that will enable their strategic finance direction

·         Define PeopleSoft Finance application control points

·         Create project deliverable templates and complete required project documentation (including Visio/process documentation)

·         Identify and monitor interdependencies between various PeopleSoft Finance applications

·        Assist PMO with weekly coordination and communication

·        Communicate with the Finance Steering Committee

·        Coordinate and schedule Finance Team activities using Microsoft Outlook

 

In order to Qualify for this Position:

·       Strong Business Acumen

·       5 to 7 years of Financial Accounting experience in a large corporation (Healthcare industry experience a plus)

·       Finance Transformation experience. 

·       Thorough understanding of Finance business processes and best practices

·       Large Scale ERP experience (PeopleSoft experience preferred)

·       Prior experience with ERP Project Accounting systems (Projects, Contracts, Billing)

·       Ability to communicate with Senior Level Executives (Big-5 Experience preferred)

·       Very good communication skills

·       Tactful, pleasant customer-facing disposition and attitude

·       Ability to multi-task

MBA and CPA
