FUND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

- Bachelors degree is required GENERAL SUMMARY:Demonstrates commitment to the vision, core purpose/mission and goals of LRMC and LRMC Foundation, modeling the values and culture. Assists with annual and planned gift programs, special projects, donor-relations, prospect identification and cultivation, community-directed programs, education and communication publications. Oversees day-to-day operations for area of responsibility. Assists with budgeting. Uses discretionary judgment in the management of volunteers, donors, board members, customers and visitors. Identifies and facilitates opportunities for improvement in the area of stewardship, employee satisfaction, communication, accountability and customer satisfaction. Performs other duties as assigned NOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Preferred: Raisers Edge or other computer-based donor management software experience. Comfortable with word processing, Excel, Powerpoint. Required: Strong written and verbal communications skills. Good interpersonal skills for communicating with coworkers, donors, volunteers, board and committee members. Basic computer knowledge. EDUCATION: Preferred: Advanced education and training in philanthropy and fundraising. Required: 4-year degree in marketing, public relations, philanthropy, non-profit management or related areas. EXPERIENCE: Preferred: Two years work experience in fund-raising, not-for-profit management, public relations, communications or related field. Required: Experience in fund-raising, not-for-profit management, public relations, communications or related field.
