FT Day Cardiac Cath RN
Organize and administer individualized age specific professional care to patients undergoing cardiac catherization in support of medical care. Provides nursing care as directed by medical staff and in accordance with the objectives, policies and procedures of the hospital and the State Nurse Practice Act. Maintains the standards of nursing care as established. Participates in patient teaching. Participates in unit Quality Improvement evaluation activities. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age specific needs and provide age specific treatment. Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. At least two years of critical car nursing experience.Cardiac Cath Lab experience required.Current NJ RN.Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider course completion statusMaintains required ACLS course completion status.
