F/T Receptionist

About our Facility:



Veterinary receptionist (full time) wanted for 7 Doctor, state of the art, hospital in Sugar Land, Texas.  Must be 21 years of age or older.

 

Hours: 10:30 am to 7:00pm M-F, every 3rd Saturday 7:30am-1pm and occasional Sunday 11:30am-4pm.

 

Salary:  Commensurate with experience ($8.50-$12.50/hr)

Job Purpose:

 

To Provide excellent and accurate customer service while aiding our 7 doctors with routine administrative assistance. Have an outgoing personality and enjoy working with people, team interaction skills, some animal experience (pet ownership), basic computer and telephone skills

 

Duties: scheduling appointments, discharging patients and collecting payments for services, updating patient's charts, admitting patients for veterinary, boarding and grooming services, processing and mailing reminders for services, reconciliation of daily deposits, contacting clients for appointments and follow up calls, some overtime may be required

Skills/Qualifications:

Ability to multi-task, great customer service skills and a good speaking voice over the phone, quick learner, basic computer skills such as typing and MS word, previous work in reception or customer service

 

Atleast 2 years in customer service is a must.  Previous veterinary experience is not required but is a plus.
