Eye Processing Coordinator
EYE PROCESSING
COORDINATOR
The Center for Organ Recovery and Education (CORE) is seeking a full-time Eye Processing Coordinator for our Eye Bank Department.
Job Summary:
The Eye Processing Coordinator will assist with all aspects of evaluation, recovery, and distribution of eye tissue for transplantation or research. He/she will be responsible for donor evaluation, surgical recovery, preservation, and placement. He/She will act as a liaison with local corneal transplant surgeons, National and International Eye Banks.
Primary day shift work with weekend, holiday, and night on-call coverage.
Applicants must have a high school diploma, strong medical background, and valid drivers license. Previous Ophthalmology experience (COA, COT, ST, or CEBT) is helpful but not required. This is a challenging position with excellent pay and benefits
package.
