Experienced Accounts Payable Specialist

Eye Care Associates, our progressive and busy eye care practice and a 2007 Triangle Business Journal "Best Place to Work", is looking for an experienced full time Accounts Payable Specialist to assist the Accounting department in general functions. Duties will include processing payables, matching invoices to statements, entering batches, patient refunds, printing checks, answering incoming calls, data entry, filing, and other general accounting duties as assigned.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus at least 1-2 years of work experience in accounts payable. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, are required. Experience with Great Plains software is a plus!! Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and have strong attention to detail. Good attitude and professionalism are a must!

Our accounting department operates Mondays through Fridays and is located at our North Raleigh office on Six Forks Road. This position is full-time and will start with 32 hours a week and is expected to grow to a forty hour per week schedule as our volume continues to increase!
