Executive Director

Job Description:

Executive Director position specifications: Education: Master’s or Ph.D. Degree in Psychology, Social Work or other related field.

 

Qualifications: Currently licensed by the Professional Licensing Board of the State of Wyoming. Ability to advocate for relevant State legislative or regulated bills, contracts, laws, rules or guidelines impacting Mental Health and Substance Abuse treatment. Completed past psychological evaluation/testing or willingness to complete evaluation/testing. Organized individual with solid computer skills and grant-writing experience.

Special Knowledge and Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of theory-based therapeutic models. Knowledge and skills in individual, family, and group counseling. Managerial and human-relation skills, ability to work well with others. Knowledge of human-service agency operations. Knowledge of grant management and fiduciary responsibilities.

 

Prior Experience: Three years of post-Master’s clinical experience providing mental health and/or substance abuse services, and two years of relevant experience in mental health and/or substance abuse service management or administration; broad-based background crucial, with specific area experience desirable; demonstrated commitment to clients and willingness of involvement with the Agency
