Job Description: Responsible for the provision, cleaning, maintenance, and proper technical functioning of essential anesthesia machines, ventilators, and other types of anesthesia equipment that is age specific, under the direction of the Chief of Anesthesia.Orders supplies for the anesthesia department under the direction of the Chief of Anesthesia. The equipment technician is also responsible for the provision of daily and emergency supplies essential to the administration of safe anesthesia.perates and maintains the Steris System One according to manufacturers' recommendations.Works closely with materials management to ensure the department has an acceptable level of supplies.Job Qualifications: High School Diploma some college preferredPrior operating room experience and knowledge of sterile technique preferred.Basic Life Support (CPR) and basic EKG interpretation
