Environmental Services Director

Our client was founded in 1960. They are privately owned and sales are approximately 500 million. They have about 8500 employees in 10 states. The organization is a leader in the food service industry. They are currently expanding their healthcare foodservice division. We are currently searching for a Director of Environmental Services to manage a hospital account in the East Liverpool area.  Responsibilities: The following is a partial list of the responsibilities of the Environmental Services Director.  1.  Develops operational objectives in support of regional and corporate goals and objectives. 2.  Executes activities of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with client expectations, service requirements, and corporate goals and objectives. 3.  Prepares and operates within an annual operating budget based upon approved departmental financial and non–financial objectives. Maintains records and completes regularly scheduled financial reports to monitor financial results.4.  Implements and ensures compliance with the corporate Quality Management standards and procedures, compiles date and report to appropriate client departments, company management and governmental agencies. 5.  Develop and maintains an organizational structure and staffing schedules (within the Environmental Services Department of a client facility) to ensure effective execution of approved objectives. 6. Secures and develops staff members who will achieve performance standards within the account. 7.  Implements safety programs that teach equipment maintenance and accident prevention to ensure:a. Proper working condition of all equipmentb. The safety of associates8.  Executes company, client and legally required personnel programs and procedures, including related administration reporting and documentation.9.  Develops and maintains documentation and other criteria as required by all regulatory agencies. 10.  Directs training sessions to ensure that each department member has been properly trained to use all products and equipment as outlined in the Policy and Procedures manuals for Environmental Services.11.  Serves as a resource and ensures communication for client administration, staff and company personnel by communication new industry, cleaning, laundry and operational trends. 12.  Develops and maintains professional client relations through formal and informal communication systems including meetings and reports both verbal and written.  Qualifications: Â·  Bachelor’s Degree is preferred· 3+ years of environmental services management in a healthcare facility OR 2 years as operations manager in a healthcare facility ·  Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive client and top management relations · 3+ years of supervisory experience  MRINetwork, one of the world's largest search and recruitment organizations, has over 1,000 offices in more than 35 countries.
