Position Description: The primary function of the CRS eligibility specialist is to ensure that prospective CRS members are screened appropriately and effectively assisted and enrolled into the program after medical and financial eligibility criteria are determined and met as stipulated in CRS Contractors Policy and Procedure Manual (CPPM) Section 4.0. Primary Responsibilities:Learn complex problem solving techniques and methods and apply within well-defined guidelines of the CRS program; elevate complex problems, make limited decisions regarding assigned work, conduct customer service transactions and apply regulations and procedures. Coordinate referrals and other information for determination of eligibility and application for CRS services. Ensure all documentation and necessary information is gathered to effectively determine eligibility status of applicants. Request additional information if eligibility screening cannot be completed from initial documentation. Conduct financial screening of non-AHCCCS enrolled applicants and assist with AHCCCS application if potentially eligible. Track and report all applicable information as required. Follow all timelines and guidelines for eligibility determination as outlined in CPPM Section 4.0 and CRS Scope of Work for Solicitation HP832090.Qualifications:High school diploma required Two or more years experience in eligibility/enrollment preferred Knowledge of member services strongly preferred MS Word and Excel required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organization and coordination or processing skills Able to follow State, Federal, and corporate guidelines Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.
