Longmont United Hospital

Changing the Caring Experience…
Longmont United Hospital is dedicated to making our community a better place to live, work, and raise a family -- one patient at a time. That dedication transcends our programs, treatments, services and our staff. It means providing our patients with extraordinary, sophisticated, state-of-the-art care-- close to home or work-- with unique treatment options that honor the whole person and enhance the healing experience.
Healthcare at Longmont United Hospital is more than treating a patient’s physical needs. Health, wellness and healing require the gentle understanding of the powerful connection between body, mind and spirit. As time brings new changes and challenges to healthcare at increasingly rapid rates, Longmont United Hospital will keep pace with the future as it has in the past.
In a patient-centered approach to healthcare, nurses partner with patients and their family members to identify and satisfy the full range of patient needs and preferences. In addition to improving the patient experience, patient-centered organizations also focus on supporting the professional and personal aspirations of their staff members, who can more effectively care for patients if they are cared for themselves.
Community centered and community driven, Longmont United Hospital is dedicated to honoring, respecting and valuing its patients, employees, physicians and volunteers. Even with its growth, Longmont is still a close-knit city that cherishes its hometown feel. Whether you’re attending a local symphony performance, a Friday night high school football game, or having a barbeque with neighbors, you’ll understand the sense of community that permeates this town.
Being an exceptional workplace is one of our strategic initiatives. Our vision is to be the healthcare organization where the best nurses and staff are employed, where the best physicians practice, and where people choose to receive care.
Longmont United Hospital is expanding its Emergency Department and has current nursing openings. Full-time, night shifts are available as well as Per Diem-nights. Requirements include minimum of 1 year of ED experience along with BLS, ACLS, PALS and/or EPNC, TNCC certification.
