Electronic Health Record (EHR) Trainer

The EHR Trainer works within our Electronic Health Record project. This role is anticipated to work through phase 2 of the project. Specifically: Acts as a primary trainer pre-, during and post-conversion. Promotes mutual support among colleagues and emphasizes knowledge sharing and success of the team. Demonstrates effective instructional techniques. Attends required training sessions and team meetings. Complies with attendance tracking and competency documentation requirements. Report issues identified in training and recommend the modification of learning materials or other appropriate actions. Follows established learning materials and protocols. Maintains a positive attitude toward change. Able to demonstrate extensive product knowledge Able to assist in the EHR Phase 2 testing efforts as needed. Qualifications include: High school diploma or GED required; experience in healthcare, education or Bachelor of Science preferred. Knowledge of adult learning principles. Experience in group presentation and facilitation skills or p revious training/teaching experience strongly preferred. Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Windows and CSM Learning Institute. Positive and enthusiastic about electronic health record changes with knowledge of Electronic Health Record preferred. Knowledgeable of the clinical environment of heath care and how it relates to the learner. Good communication skills. Able to use CSM Learning Institute You will be compensated for regular hours pay at your current salary level for all work performed with the EHR program. Hours dedicated to the EHR Project will be charged to an EHR cost center.
