EP Specialist

Experience: QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCE DETERMINATION: Education: Graduate of accredited school or equivalent with (RCVT), or Graduate of accredited program of Radiographic Technology (ARRT). Graduate from an accredited nursing program. License/Certifications: BLS certification   ACLS certification (RN only) Certification in area of practice (RCES, RCIS) is desirable.  Current Virginia nursing (RN) license (RN only) Experience: Experience in EP lab and interventional cardiovascular settings preferred. Experience in assisting during cardiac device implantation and/or ablations. Description: In this role the EP specialist assists the physician during diagnostic and therapeutic Electrophysiology procedures, device implants and diagnostic/interventional cardiac catheterizations. This assistance leads to accurate diagnosis and optimal disease management and treatment.
