Description The American Red Cross has brought hope and help to people in emergencies through disaster relief, health education and other services since 1881. Today, the Red Cross is recognized as one of the nation’s leading providers of lifesaving blood. We bring lifesaving blood and a comprehensive array of services to more than 130 New Jersey and southeastern Pennsylvania hospitals around the clock. The Donor Collection Assistant is responsible for completing confidential health histories, taking vital signs, and performing phlebotomies on volunteer blood donors. As a donor collection assistant in the field, you are the face of the American Red Cross Blood Services and  traveling throughout our Penn Jersey region, working with our diverse population. Requirements Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required. Bilingual (Spanish / English or Korean/English) skills would be a plus. Salary: $12.78 per hour plus travel time compenstation, mileage reimbursement and comprehensive benefits package including; medical, dental, life insurance, 401k, tuition reimbursement, free parking, on-site fitness center and generous paid time off.
