Join us, do rewarding work, and build a great career.   The primary responsibilities of the Care Manager include:Working with services for the mentally ill and substance abuse population Handling both case management and utilization review Authorizing outpatient and inpatient services Applying specified criteria to cases Collaborating with physicians and family members to asses the patients’ needs and treatment plansThe requirements for this role are as follows:A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Chemical Dependency or Counseling with appropriate unrestricted licensure in TN (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, etc)   OR a RN with a current and unrestricted license in TN and a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree Substantial inpatient / outpatient clinical experience in a behavioral-health setting Managed care and /or utilization review experience Computer proficiency Additional assets include:Experience with mental health and chemical dependency public-sector programs Experience with psychological diagnosis (DSM IV, UCD-9) Community health experience A background working with TennCare members Experience with CMM (Care Management Module) When you become part of AmeriChoice, you also become part of something larger—a Fortune 100 leader with a broad spectrum of services and products—while still working for a company where you can see and feel your impact.
