Coventry Heath Care is currently seeking candidates for the following rewarding positions in our Houston office:Director Service Center Operations
As the Director of Service Center Operations, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a claims processing unit and customer service (call center) operation serving multiple National Account health plans. Our Houston service facility is a 24/7 operation, servicing customers and providers. In addition the service center is responsible for processing claims. This position will also have direct contact with our customers to help market, resolve issues and maintain business as needed. Some additional responsibilities include:
Developing strategic, operational and tactical business plans and aligning people and processes to achieve business goalsLeading and developing managers and teamsBuilding and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and business partners Developing and managing department budget; controlling expenses while meeting operation, financial and service requirements facilitating change effectively
Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Significant experience managing and leading managed care operations (i.e. claims, customer service, enrollment, etc.) preferred Significant inbound call center experience Knowledge of queuing theories, work force scheduling and telecommunications Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills Strong independent strategic decision making ability Demonstrated expert process and project management ability Excellent time management, organization and interpersonal and communication skills Strong influencing, negotiation and analytical skills Ability to create, design and communicate overall strategies for servicing internal and external customers
