Director of Residential Services
Bridgewell, a private, non-profit organization that has been providing support to individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities for over 50 years is seeking a dynamic Director of Residential Services to provide support and supervision to a group of residential supervisors and programs in Lowell and Merrimack Valley area.
Our mission is to help individuals achieve and enjoy their highest quality of life and personal growth. We provide residential and homeless services, employment training and education, and habilitative, behavioral health and recreational services to achieve our mission. We provide quality services to more than 3,000 individuals each day in 18 communities throughout the North Shore and Merrimack Valley.
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills with the ability to supervise, mentor, and build a team of exceptional professionals while ensuring the delivery of quality services.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:hiring, training, and supervision of residential supervisors. Provide leadership, training, and support to staff in running programs. Coordinate and manage new program start-ups; monitor budgets; oversee all referrals; ensure compliance with DDS, CARF, and all applicable regulations.
Requirements include:Master’s degree in a related field with a minimum of three years experience working with people with developmental disabilities or a BA degree and minimum of five years of experience. Must have at least three years of supervisory and team leadership experience. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage an operating budget and ability to develop and foster positive relationships with funding sources and community groups.
