Director of Rehabilitation / DOR

As a Director of Rehabilitation / DOR at Healthbridge Management you will be responsible for the efficient management of rehabilitation services.

 



The Director of Rehabilitation ensures that the highest standard of rehabilitation services is delivered and maintained. The DOR is responsible for assisting the Regional Director of Rehabilitation Services with goal planning, development, implementation, directing and monitoring of rehabilitation programs in the community.  The DOR is specifically accountable for meeting the business goals of the community through ethical and sound financial business practices without sacrificing the quality and quantity of rehab services.  The DOR is specifically responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with the development and implementation of quality and cost effective clinical programs through the recruitment, development and retention of clinicians committed to excellence.  This position is also responsible for the delivery of resident care in the DOR’s area of practice to meet the resident’s needs.  The DOR directly supervises the Facility Rehab Staff.

Requirements for the Director of Rehabilitation are a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a rehabilitation discipline. Masters is preferred. The Director of Rehabilitation must have three years direct patient care experience and one year of management experience. A thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing is also required.
