We are currently seeking candidates for a full time Staffing Director of Pharmacy at Rockford Center in Newark, DE. Hours are mostly weekdays 8 am - 4:30 pm. Pharmacist at Rockford Center in Newark, DEWorking a part time flexible 4 hour shift on either Saturdays OR Sundays.A Current Delaware Pharmacist licensure is required.As Delaware’s first private psychiatric facility, Rockford Center has expanded the scope and breadth of its services since 1974. We have grown from a 55-bed residential psychiatric facility for individuals with sub-acute psychiatric disorders, to a 92-bed facility that provides easy access to a full complement of inpatient behavioral healthcare and partial hospital programs for adults, adolescents, and children.As Director of Pharmacy we’ll rely on you to oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling and supervising activities in the hospital pharmacy according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and State and Federal laws. You’ll recommend innovations in the practice and function of the hospital pharmacy to Administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs. You’ll need the ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns in addition to the ability to work cooperatively with other members of Comprehensive Pharmacy Services and hospital and pharmacy staff.
