We have an immediate opening for a Director of Patient Services at Scott & White (600 plus bed facility) in Temple, Texas. The incumbent will be responsible for the following: Manage the client and ARAMARK nutrition standards, as well as follows established guidelines for JCAHO and all other regulatory organizations. Direct the planning of all aspects of clinical dietetics and the overall oversight of the patient tray line as appropriate. Maintain collaborative relationship with nursing and physicians, and all hospital staff. Publish or help others with the printing of their work in professional journal. Submit new ideas to Food Service Director. Coordinate the clinical nutrition team and ensure all standards of care are being followed. Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Dietetics, Food Science, Nutrition, Food Service Management, Institutional Management, or field relevant to function managed. Minimum 3 years progressive clinical or food service management experience. Registered Dietitian helpful. Ability to be flexible, multi-task, detailed and timely. Must be completely customer and resident focused. Excellent management, leadership, and communication skills (written and verbal) are essential. Experience managing union employees helpful.
