Director of Materials Management
Peninsula Regional Medical Center is a nationally recognized, state of the art, 366-bed tertiary care facility located on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland that is one of Maryland's largest and fastest growing Healthcare systems. Peninsula Regional's $100 million expansion and renovation project-the largest ever in Wicomico County.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in hospital Materials Management organizing and streamlining supply chain in a mid-size hospital. Previous experience at the Director level is required with responsibilities across the supply chain (including the Heart Center, Surgical Services, Central Stores, etc.). Knowledge and experience with Material Management Technologies and systems (Lawson and McKesson experience preferred.) Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff and physicians in managing the hospital’s supply chain are required along with a strong service oriented approach. A Graduate degree is preferred. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required. Five to ten year’s experience in hospital materials management required. CMRP a plus.
