Job Description Location Flexible Job Summary As the Director of Learning you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective training programs for all National Imaging Aassociates staff, providers, and the staff of other State agencies that deliver, coordinate or oversee services to enrolled members. You will assume overall responsibility for new employee orientation as well as ongoing education programs either required per contract or identified by performance improvement processes. Essential Functions Plan and direct the National Imaging Associates training program including the design and implementation of training programs in consult with National Imaging Aoociates' leadership, providers, internal departments (such as HR, Medical, Network, Claims, QI). You will champion innovative training initiatives with various stakeholders involving best practices, leadership development, cultural competency, and customer service. Provide professional leadership in the development and management of training personnel. Monitor training program effectiveness: Develop, implement, and maintain training documentation including trended analysis of competency testing and training evaluations. Provide leadership and direction for the development and implementation of a fully functional learning management system (LMS) and eLearning solutions. Minimum Requirements Education: MA/MS/MBA Field(s) of study: Radiology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Education, or other related field. Experience: 8+ Years Industry: Radiology, Managed Care Job Specific: Preference for at least two years training or instructional design experience in a Radiology Organization, and at least one year as manager/director of training. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities HANDS-ON position Superior organization and planning skills, exceptional communication skills including presentation and facilitation skills. Ability to establish credibility and collegiality with provider community; collaborate and partner with National Imaging Associates leaders. Ability to travel throughout the county is required. (approx 15% of the time). Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Prior experience: Authoring/editing clinical training, delivering clinical training to providers. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Experience with eLearning or Web-based Training; experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Licenses, Certifications, etc: Certification as a Professional Trainer by ASTD (American Society of Training and Development), IBSTPI (International Board of Standards for Training Performance and Instruction) or equivalent professional organization preferred.
