Director of Income Tax

An opening currently exists for a Director of Income Tax at the corporate location of Life Care Centers of America in Cleveland, TN.  This position reviews, coordinates, and/or prepares complex pass-through entity tax returns as well as oversees the income tax team in accordance with all laws, regulations and Life Care Center of America standards.REQUIRED SKILLS:* Authoritative knowledge of federal and multi-state taxation of pass-through entities, and generally accepted accounting principles* Strong organization, analytical, managerial, communication and interpersonal skills* Proficient in the use of computer based financial and tax applications with preference given experience with Profx, Lawson, FAS, and Excel* 6+ years progressive experience with Big Four and/or large corporation tax department* Ability to analyze and research technical tax issues and communicate conclusions* Occasional travel to meetings or outside training may be required*  Bachelor's in Accounting and CPA certification required - Master in Tax degree preferred
