Pinnacle Partners in Medicine is the Anesthesia and Pain Medicine leader in the greater Dallas market and one of the largest anesthesia physician groups in the country.  Pinnacle is committed to providing comprehensive, quality and cost effective provider services in the area of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Director of Human Resouces.This position is located in our Central Business Office which is located in North Dallas.

 POSITION SUMMARY:

Directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the Human Resources function.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to): 

1. Administers all Human Resources responsibilities for both physicians and staff.

2. Develops and implements Human Resources policies and procedures; prepares and maintains Employee Handbook.

3. Communicates changes in personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed.

4. Acts as role model within and outside of company.

5. Develops and administers an effective recruiting program for all non-provider positions.

6. Recommends and implements benefit programs.

7. Performs benefit administration to include claims resolution, approving invoices for payment, annual evaluation for cost effectiveness and changes.

8. Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and insures company’s compliance.

9. Advises on HR issues to all management and employees.

10.  Conduct quarterly staff meetings.

11.  Implement and revise compensation plan annually; rewrites job descriptions and conducts salary surveys; analyzes compensation; monitors performance evaluation programs and revises as needed.

12.  Evaluate training needs, recommends training and develops training programs.

13.  Maintains reports including EEO-1, new hire data, turnover, and others as needed.

14.  Maintains quarterly HR Metrics.

15.  Administers company’s FMLA policy.

16.  Administers company’s Unemployment Claims responses.

17.  Administers Pinnacle’s 401k plan.

18.  Responsible for maintaining all personnel files.

19.  Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, and/or as directed by the CEO on personnel matters.

20.  Recommends, evaluates, and participates in Staff Development for Pinnacle.

21.  Develops and maintains a Human Resources Information System that meets Pinnacle’s information needs.

22.  Responds to DOL, EEOC, TWC inquiries and complaints.

23.  Creates and manages job descriptions.

24.  Develops and manages the Human Resources budget.

25.  Supervises the Human Resources Department staff.

26.  Maintains strictest confidentiality.

27.  Performs related work as required.

28.  All other duties as assigned.

 

Education/Training/Experience:

· Bachelor’s in Human Resources or Business Administration and 6 years of Human Resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· PHR or SPHR a plus.

· Prefer experience in a health care organization.
