Director of Food and Beverage
My client who a large multi-site catering and concession operation is searching for a strong individual in the foodservice arena to become their Director of Food and Beverage and be responsible for the marketing and operations.Some of the other duties and responsibilities will be set and maintain high standards of quality and customer service for all aspects of the Food and Beverage operation. Direct, develop and coach department personnel to ensure performance and procedures are being properly performed. Conduct performance appraisals.Also, develop innovative product presentations, promotions and menus to maximize Food and Beverage revenue. Develop and maintain departmental budget in accordance to the overall budget. Manage, motivate and maintain close communication with your banquet and concession managers as well as your other direct reports. Bring in new ideas and creativity to maximize to overall success and growth to thr operation.Some of the requirements are a 4 year degree (Food Service Management or related field is preferred). Five years of management experience in various aspects of Food and Beverage operations with an emphasis in catering and large banquets. Experience with financial budgets and computers with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and event planning software.This is a great and exciting opportunity for the right individual to work in a state of the art operation.
