In this position, you will be responsible for managing the programmatic and operational administration of the Elder Services Program.  This includes identifying and designing a continuum of care that respond to the needs of our senior community while engaging elders and their families.  Responsible for staffing, supervision, and program evaluation.    Requires knowledge of senior population to include available funding sources, legal responsibilities and accountabilities, and demonstrated experience in the field of gerontology, social services, and health systems.

 

Education requirements include:  Master’s degree (MSW preferred) plus Rhode Island LICSW OR Bachelor of Science degree in nursing with a current Rhode Island nursing license.

 

Prior experience includes:  A minimum of three (3) years experience in direct services with the elderly and one (1) year experience in supervision are required.
