Director of Education - Acute Care Hospital

This is a terrific employer in the Houston, Texas area......a 300 bed hospital needs a Director of Education.

In this role, you will develop and implement: training, orientation, continuing education for all hospital employees.  You need to be organized and creative.  We are looking for someone to come in and develop programs, start up new classes, infuse ideas and track results.  "From the ground up" should not be an unfamiliar phrase to you.  There is a diabetic educator and a wound care specialist on staff to assist you.  Administration will have your back.......  So there is nothing to stop you making this an even better place to work.

If you have a strong background in acute care education, then this is for you!!

Compensation will approach six figures in an area where cost of living is low.  Kiplinger Finance magazine rated Houston the #1 Most Livable City in the US for 2008.

There is no state tax in Texas and Houston is the fourth largest city in the US.  We have one of the largest concentrations of healthcare services in the country.  You can't go wrong bringing your career here.

Requires RN with MS preferred and must have a background in hospital education, especially as a Director of Education at another acute care hospital.
