Director of Care - LVN or RN
Qualified Director of Care needed for boutique assisted living community in Sacramento. This brand new, upscale community offers a higher level of assisted living care in an environment that promotes dignity and respect for the residents. The Director of Care position will enjoy a flexible schedule (Monday through Friday) and great hours.
The Director of Care will oversee the assisted living department, and direct and train the care staff including LVNs, CNAs and caregivers. Conducting assessments of existing and potential residents, crafting care plans and working with resident's families are key components to this role.
Requirements:
- CA LVN or RN license in good standing;
- 2+ years management experience supervising at least 4 direct reports; Training experience is a huge plus!
- 4+ years experience working with seniors in an assisted living or skilled nursing environment;
- Knowledge of Title 22 or RCFE certification is a plus
- Good organizational and time management skills;
- Must believe in a high standard of quality of care for seniors.
