Director of Advanced Practice Nursing / 08-15340
Position Description:
The Director of Advanced Practice Nursing (APN) provides leadership related to advanced practice nursing roles at the CHOP. The Director of APN provides operational, programmatic and strategic support for APN practice. The Director of APN works collaboratively with physician, nursing, and administrative colleagues to leverage the role of the APN.
Qualifications:
Required Licenses / Certificates / Registrations Current APN licensure in PA, NJ, & DECertification in area of specialtyRequired Education and Experience Minimum education required; cite years and type of experience • Master’s degree in nursing; Doctorate preferred• Minimum of 5 years as APN • Experience leading APNs strongly preferredAdditional Technical Requirements Specific knowledge and skills.
