Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare is a non-profit, 144 bed (138 private rooms), acute care hospital

Our Surgical Unit has 8 state of the art surgical suites with 2 CVOR suites providing complex surgical care along with 14 PACU Phase I bays and 10 Phase II/PreOp bays providing individualized patient care based on complexity of acuity.

Director

POSITION SUMMARY:
Within the framework of the objectives and policies established by the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director plans and coordinates nursing services with those of the medical and administrative systems.  Participates as a member of the hospital’s management team in planning, policy formulation, and administrative decision making in the role, functions, and operation of the hospital.  In summary, is responsible for his or her divisional patient care, management, resource management, and fiscal management. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelor degree is required; Masters degree is preferred.  Must have a current RN license in State of Nevada and current BLS certification.  A minimum of five years of management or progressive surgical services leadership experience and a minimum of five years experience as an acute care nurse is required.
