The Healthcare business of Thomson Reuters provides insights -- information, benchmarks and analysis -- that enable organizations to manage costs, improve performance and enhance the quality of healthcare. ***Virtual (home-based) office anywhere in United States. Prefer Eastern United states locations*** With Sales Vice President, identify key target accounts and target quota goals to be sold within Federal Market. Develop and execute business development plans in conjunction with sales, business consulting, and systems delivery groups that will meet or exceed established quota goals. Identify value add opportunities for each client and develop strategy for increasing value add to specific target amount for each account. Provide account management direction for all value-add revenue opportunities with existing clients for all consulting and database services. Maintain regular contact, both in-person and by telephone, with assigned accounts at a senior or executive level. Ensure client satisfaction by anticipating needs and meeting those needs. Ensure that the targeted gross margin goal for all assigned accounts is maintained. ***Federal Government experience required*** 5+ years in healthcare consulting, health benefits management, and/or information technology, with at least 5 years in healthcare. Experience in successfully managing complex consulting engagements with Federal Government agencies. Account management experience, including relationship building and maintenance. Sales experience, ability to function at senior levels within client companies. Experience with plan sales quota's and proven history of meeting or exceeding targets. Team player ability to engender confidence with all levels of Medstat employees, executives and the client company employees/executives. Excellent business instincts - able to function well in a competitive, changing environment. Strong oral and written communications skills. Willingness to travel (35%).
