Accountabilities in this role
Responsible for directing all activities associated with managing a manufacturing facility to ensure the achievement of service, cost and quality goalsDevelops and implements strategic and operational plans for the facility; achieves financial and operational goals Manages direct staff of exempt supervisors and non-exempt support staff and indirect staff of non-exempt and hourly employees; improves efficiency of department operations; provides a positive work environmentDevelops and implements continuous improvement processes; improves product quality, process efficiency, costs, and/or compliance with company policies/regulationsManages classical cost accounting and expense control—forecasting, development of and adherence to profit plan, etc.Supports facility health and safety programs and OSHA regulations to reduce workplace injuries; ensures a safe work environment is maintained

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field required, advanced degree preferred A minimum of 8+ years related work experience required, including 3+ years supervisory experience Strong leadership and interpersonal skillsSignificant experience within a manufacturing environment; manufacturing planning skills Knowledge of applicable computer systems Aptitude for change management Experience in Ops Excellence (Lean Six Sigma) Developing business-specific strategies and implementing them
