Director of Clinical System Archictecture - Technical Expert in Cerner Millennium If you are seeking a highly visible, impactful role located in “one of the best places to live in the U.S.” this is a great opportunity to join a growing hospital system (25+ locations) headquartered in Florida. Our client is seeking a Director with expertise in Cerner Millennium to direct architecture, security and change management activity. As the lead technical expert, you will work closely with technical and application teams to address, lead and manage all Cerner Millennium system optimization, troubleshooting and policy and procedure governance. Located in “one of the best places to live” in Florida; this hospital system is growing across four regions of the country. Key Responsibilities: Act as technical lead expert for Cerner Millennium system with oversight for system architecture, security and change management Lead a team of 15 including Managers in Security and Clinical Systems Architecture Will sit on Executive Committee and establish governance policy and procedure Desired Experience:· Deep technical depth is required for this role. Has progressed career on technical side (programmer, application architect) in Cerner environment to Director level· Must have Cerner Millennium experience with ability to direct others on system· Strategic, driven, creative work style is desired with ability to work collaboratively· Full cycle people management with experience leading IT managers and support teams· BS degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
