Director, Acute Revenue Management Center Operations Healthcare-Finance-Buffalo, NY

The Catholic Health System's Revenue Management Department is in need of a Director of Acute Revenue Management Center Operations.  This position will be responsible for Managing the Revenue Management Team/Soarian operation state in daily operations.  The incumbent will manage the technology needs for the PFS to meet the business needs of department. Will be charged with daily operations of RMC which will include, but not be limited to, metric creation/management and reporting, process improvments, productivity management and disaster planning. The Director will be the point of contact for financial reporting.

 SKILLS and EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (minimum): EDUCATION Requirements:·  B.S. or B.A. degree in Finance required.

·  HFMA Certification preferred.

·  CPA preferred.

 EXPERIENCE Requirements:

·  Minimum five (5) years experience in system analysis and design in healthcare-related applications.

·  Experience with healthcare operations, large projects and multi-entity large organizations required/minimum five (5) years.

·  Experience in business process re-engineering and change management desired.

·  Experience as a trainer or educator preferred.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY:

·  Expertise in finance and revenue cycle management required.

·  Demonstrated team leadership skills required.

·  Demonstrated programmer and analytical skills required.
