Help us lead our food service operation, and provide great food and service to the patients, staff and visitors of Penn State’s Hershey Medical Center!

 

Responsible to receive and review patient diet orders and patient menus, assist patients with menu selections, correct menus to match diet orders, process diet slips and diet requests, communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate feeding of patients. Respond to special requests in a way that promotes patient satisfaction through the appropriate use of Food Service resources. Assist Nourishment Room staff as needed.  High School Diploma or equivalent and up to 6 months relevant experience required.  Must be able to read and write English, understand basic clinical abbreviations,  and  be able to calculate basic formulas using math and algebra. Basic computer skills required.
