Dialysis RN Charge Nurse A full-time Charge RN opportunity is available at our Northeast DC Clinic!Qualified candidates MUST possess a minimum of 6 months hemodialysis experience and a valid RN licensure.Fresenius Medical Care offers a Competitive Salary, Excellent Benefit Plans, and 5 weeks paid time off!Medical, Dental Plans, Vision, Short & Long-term disability, Life Insurance, Profit-sharing, 401k, tuition reimbursement, and much more!    Ensure provision of quality patient care on a daily basis and supervise the direct patient care staff. In this position you will maintain overall shift operation in a safe, efficient, and effective manner, conduct staff meetings at least monthly or as needed to keep patient care staff informed of changes in patient needs or operations to improve delivery of care. Meet routinely with the Director of Nursing Services to discuss personnel and patient care status, issues, and information. Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments appropriately. Perform written staff evaluations in conjunction with the Director of Nursing. Recommend and initiate disciplinary action in conjunction with the DON Services. Act as a resource person for staff members. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.) Current, appropriate state licensure Minimum of six months experience in Hemodialysis One-year experience in medical surgical nursing preferred Supervisory or management experience preferred Certified in CPR or successfully complete course in CPR certification FMCNA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
