Position Description:

The Sunquest Laboratory™ system achieved "Best in KLAS" in the Laboratory Segment for 2007, which was its fourth consecutive year, (KLAS Enterprises, LLC, www.healthcomputing.com.) The successful candidate will focus on the following objectives during the first 12 months:• Within 3 months, learn the product workflow and how to configure the major components of the CoPath product. Become a domain expert within one year.• In the first three months, become an expert in the requirements processes and utilizing the appropriate tools to create the functional requirements and requirements matrixes. Become familiar with healthcare standards like HIPPA, HL7 etc. • Using the Marketing Requirements Document, define and prepare a fully scoped functional specification with Use Cases including the Risk and Hazard Analysis in 3 months. • Co-Develop and implement a client training program to educate clients on release updates and changes within 9 months.This individual will be responsible for:- the correct interpretation of the Marketing Requirement Document (MRD)and voice of the customer- the production of a requirements document- will work closely with internal stake holders, and or clients on a daily bases. - will learn and demonstrate a clear understanding of the CoPath product through the accurate and effective requirements, workflow and prototype -will work with product and development management and maintain a clear and up to date understanding of customer needs, market trends, and at a high level technologies used with in the CoPath product. -will be responsible for the communicating status, risk, issues, and areas for improvement in a clear and timely manner. -will present to, teach and mentor others

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent-Experience writing functional specifications for commercial software development products preferred. -Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. -Experience in the healthcare industry preferred. -Experience using Rational RequisitePro and writing business use cases preferred. -Ability to coordinate client focus groups, demonstrations, and education classes. -Ability to describe the workflow and troubleshoot workflow issues in a healthcare environment to suggest alternate resolutions to the development team. -Good written and oral communication skills required."A Proud Winner of the 2007 & 2008 Workplace Excellence Award - Tucson, Arizona" We offer a full and supportive benefits package eligible for all new hire employees and their family from day one.
